They chose a very difficult routine. There was concern that it might be too difficult. Competition and judging in Arizona are tough given the number of competitive synchronized swim team in the state. It is very difficult for a team to score well. While she was lying in the chair, a piece of equipment came loose from the boom and fell on her face - right between her eyes just above her nose! There is almost nothing better than fresh orange juice on ice...liquid AZ sunshine! We tried to fit this activity in before Lauren and Erik left for Utah but the weather did not cooperate. I am preparing for the MS 100 that takes place in June in Illinois. Last year, I completed the 100 mile ride in a respectable time. The weather conditions however, were awful; mid-50's and rain most of the ride. I rode on the BP (British Petroleum) team organized by Bill Hall. Teams were mostly from local but there were a few teams from Los Angeles and one team from Las Vegas.
